Brian Novak

Brian Novak is the Executive Director & founder of Bikes Heal, a nonprofit dedicated to helping cancer survivors reclaim their physical and mental strength through cycling. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast and avid cyclist, Brian turned to the bike as a source of healing and resilience after multiple cancer diagnoses. His personal journey inspired the creation of Bikes Heal, with a mission to share the transformative power of cycling with others facing similar challenges. Drawing on his professional background in web development, Brian combines technical expertise with a passion for building community to grow Bikes Heal’s reach and impact. Based in Genesee, Colorado, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors with his wife Corey, their dog Zeke. 

Andrew Hudon

Andrew Hudon is the founder of Leave it on the Road, a nonprofit dedicated to cycling and cancer research. A lifelong cyclist, Andrew undertook an epic ride across America to raise funds for cancer research, using his journey to inspire others and fuel his nonprofit’s mission. He brings a deep commitment to using cycling as a tool for change and a wealth of nonprofit leadership experience. At Bikes Heal, Andrew advises on program development, community partnerships, and creating meaningful impact through cycling.

Jen Barbour

Jen Barbour is the Executive Director of Shift Events, a nonprofit that has donated over $4.6 million to Colorado organizations while producing world-class cycling events such as the Triple Bypass, Salida 76, and the Hundo. Under her leadership, Shift has grown to seven annual events with the mission of getting more people on bikes and strengthening the communities they serve. With a background in Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture from UC Denver, Jen brings a unique perspective on how events can shape communities. Based in Golden, she combines her passion for cycling, community development, and creating meaningful experiences to inspire positive change on and off the bike.

Damian Fagan

Damian Fagan is the CEO and founder of Almanac Brewing, where he has built a reputation for innovative leadership and community engagement. An avid mountain biker, Damian brings a passion for cycling and outdoor adventure to the board. He leverages his entrepreneurial experience to support strategic planning, fundraising, and organizational growth, helping Bikes Heal expand its mission of empowering individuals to reclaim physical and mental strength through cycling.

Keith Heintz

Keith Heintz is a financial advisor with Edward Jones and a dedicated cyclist. With a professional background in financial planning and investment strategy, Keith provides valuable insight into organizational sustainability and long-term growth for Bikes Heal. A believer in the physical and mental benefits of cycling, he brings both financial expertise and a passion for the sport to his role on the board, helping guide Bikes Heal’s mission with clarity and stability.
